hi shazia
dont worry.i am having those pains since my24 weeks.well initially i wasnt able to move my left leg at all at that time it was the sciatic nerve getting pressed by the wt of the baby.so bed rest was suggested and brufen 400 when the pain was unbearable.there were certain days when i couldnt keep one step.
over time that pain receeded and now pain in the private part area.It increasesas the day progresses and especially when i go to lie down.
well bed rest was again suggested and it does help if one can get a little bit rest.
dont worry its just some mre weeks.
i also have two other kids so i can imagine rest is out of question.
bi
luv nandini.
p.s.on the net i read the pain in the pvt part called pelvic muscle pain is due to release of a particular hormone which is preparing the uterus muscles for labour.in our case the secretion is more as we could ve been already leading an active life and having those hormone in our stream.

Dear Nandini,
Thanks for the information that you read on the net. Even I am having the same type of pain (on the left side), whenever I lie down. I was getting really scared about it and since I have an appointment with the doctor only on 30th October, I had to wait to ask her this question. But your post has really provided me some relief!
Thanks so much!
Take Care & Keep Smiling!

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
