Due Date Club December 2005:Archie......got the report

Hello Archie,
thanks for clearing my doubt. I will surely take a decision which is better for me and my child.

The report has come and it say that
*Protin is present in urine. But my gync said that only Protine trace has been found which can be controlled withe the proper diet..
*There is low protin level in my body, hence she has asked me to increase the intake of portin products.
*My WBC count has increased. The normal range was 4000-10000, but my reading was 12,500. She did not tell anything on this part. Is the a concern or we can currently ignore it.

I am going to increase the walking time. Now I am not going to hold back anything.

if protein in urine increases with continued swelling and high bp then you may be forced to deliver ahead of time other wise traces of protein in urine is not a major concern.

walk is good idea here after, not heavy ones but like we said earlier and no salt no carbohydrates for one week to see what difference it makes.

eat protein rich diet, dairy products, lentils, chicken if you can it.

usually high wbcs is sign of some infection but if that's not in urine or vaginal path then less likely going to affect you or baby. these minor infections we don't notice and immunity takes over them and that's why high wbc, would not worry as long as you don't feel any symptoms of possible infection and that baby is moving normal.

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
