Name: Hope I am suffering frm PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovaries Syndrome) so unable to conceive for a long long time. Because of PCOS i am overwieght by 20kgs. Currently i m taking Metmorphin (Glychipage 1gm)twice daily from May 07 and started going to the Gym and am on diet to loose wght. I was 89 in April 07 and now i am 84. But the wgt is not going down frm 84.
If any one of you have any suggestions or have been treated for PCOS... pls share it with me.

Hi.......

I am also suffereing from PCOS. I have lost around 8kgs. Now my weight is normal. But while i was overweight i tried 3 cycles of clomid. but didn' t succeed in conceieving. My doc told to go for laproscopy. but i am not sure abt it so i changed to ayurvedic. But i am in search of a good ayurvedic doctor or any doctor who can treat PCOS. I am based at hyd....please give me reference of a good doctor who can treat PCOS. I have been trying to conceieve for past 2 yrs but no success yet.........Pl advice how to go about and tackle PCOS . Are there any succeess stories as far as pregnmnancy is concerned?

Hi....

I can absolutely understand what you are going through. I am having PCOS & i have been taking Metformin for over a year now. Good diet & excercise, combined with Metformin helps to reduce weight.I started Metformin in June 06 & by July 07 I had lost abt 7-8 kgs. I was overweight by 7 kgs, so I am back to normal weight now.
So you are on the right path. Keep going. All the best...

Hi diva,

I would like to know how much time after weight loss did it take for you to conceieve? And did u show to any PCOS doctor? Can u give me details of how u have cracked the pCOS problem and conceieved?

Thanks.... Good to know that u hve reached the normal wght. So now wat r u planning to do.
I will continue with my diet n excercise plus the medications & hpe for the best.
I have an appt wth one of the best Fertility splst here in Dubai on 30th Oct.... so waitng for his instructions further medications.
