Hi,
thanks for the reply. Still have questions!
Are u sure I can eat dal because the dietician (may be I couldn't explain her properly what dal is) told its also Starch so if I want to eat I have to cut the no. of chapathis(I'm eating 2 chapathis and if cut 1chapathi I won't feel my stomach is full and after 1h I'm getting hungry) . But when I searched on the internet for veg protiens they gave legumes and nuts so I'm really confused previously I thought atleast I can eat dal so less cooking sometimes if I have leftover curries I can put dal only and can manage. But after she told like that thinking waht to eat for protien at the time of lunch and dinner .
Ofcourse I'm non-vegetarian but only once in a week(sorry abt this non-veg stuff if u r vegetarian) even eggs also once or twice a week.
So the reason I increased dal after pregnant is for protien only.
And also r u eating Idli r dosa ? Is it ok?
From Oct Board I got diet plan of one of the member and she's eating idli & dosa. Just want to confirm.
Very very big message right?
thanks & take care

It just varies..my fasting is stillhigh despite insulin and my dinner is really low...
Time of eating and how much u walk after eating makes a lot of difference..
but beyond a point it is not in ur control..its the hormone that ur placenta releases that causes this..
my doc is very aggressive about keeping the post meal reading below 130 and fasting below 90..and increases my insulin whenever my readings go up....
my advice...just have an open mind..do what's best for the baby!..only a little over a month to go!

Subject:  one more q?

Hi,
one more question
I'm eating same quantity of food for lunch and dinner (2chapathi+vegetables+egg+fruit) but the after dinner reading is different from after lunch(its more but within the range) so wondering why is it like that?
Is it because by the evening I'm kind of stressed out and I heard stress affects the Blood sugar level?

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
