congrats on your family's visa being granted now the waiting will soon be over.Ashra i was so sad abt your experience but as Suni suggested i think just getting mom is a better idea.Don't give up try&lets hope for the best.Cheer up i know it is hard,but as u know let's not upset ourselves too much.You r lucky u have an aunt as backup atleast many of us don't even have that.
Radhika i wanted to email u but so busy that i have just enuff time to cook,eat&jump into bed these days.Iam focussing on some career building options rt now as it wld be difficult once the baby comes, to stay away frm home.It was disheartening to know u had so many probs all at once but pls don't let them freak u out.Nothing can be done just try to take it in your stride...Stay happy,positive&sure do vent it out here whenever u can ,we r here for u.
Actually as the time is drawing close i wish my dad cld come too ,only mom is interviewing next mth.Actually i hope to start my MD next summer so mostly want my parents to be here then for help with the baby when i have nite duties[as i have no in laws].So we thought for delivery just bring mom&then few mths later bring both.But suddenly iam feeling guilty of only mom coming leaving dad behind.You know husbands i can't force him too much bcos of the financial burden[getting both parents twice in a yr is pretty tight esp with just hubby working] gosh sometimes it is so difficult being a daughter!
Also iam wondering what mom shld answer abt wht daughter is doing bcos if iam at home means i can visit them in india?shld she say iam studying ?

Bar,Sandhya,Shreyu:carrying twins is now going to tense u guys but relax ,take max rest,precautions&don't strain over anything.No fighting with hubbies nothing is more imp than the babies&allowing the preg to go to another cuple of wks.i'll keep u'll in my prayers but just be cool in case u do go thru something untoward.Medicine has made alot of progress in managing hi risk pregnancies&all of u cldn't agree that u r in one of the best places for that kind of care so Gluck!!

Welcome back! Hope your exams went off well. Now you can concentrate on the baby. Thanks a lot for your wishes and prayers. I know exactly how you feel, my mom is coming alone to be with me since my dad will be retiring only in Jan. So I'm going to miss him a lot, but he'll be here in Nov for a month's holiday. My sis has also promised to come to see her newphew and niece in Dec. So although I wont go to India for atleast another year, all my loved ones can come to me!!!

yes its difficult to be a daughter, my sister did not want to come till my inlaws came here..is ridiculous though my husband had no prob..but its just feels awkward for her when they are so close to her and take care like parents..though i am sure they wouldn't mind..its just our way of thinking..i leave it at that.
