Hi smita,
I would suggest that u go for nursing bras as they are very comfortable and very useful after delivery.
cos whats imp to us after delivery is our comfort and as far i know i used them after my first delivery and i was very comfortable. I started with the regular bras and it was very diff cos it disturbs the baby while nursing but when i started the nursing bras i was very comfy. U can manage with the normal ones. but if u prefer a bit comfort after the delivery cos u tend to loose patience very easily at that time, u can go for nursing bras.

I bought some for me. dont buy many just pick up 3 to 4. that'll do.

Hi Smita,

Typically you would need to use nursing bras post delivery when you start nursing the baby. It will be good if you can buy and keep before you go into labour so that you can use them as soon as you start feeding. My sister has used them and I have heard that they are pretty useful. But some people make do with the normal bras itself. My cousin's doc said there was no need for a nursing bra and she used the normal ones, she had no complaints.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Raji

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
