Hello..Kindly tell me that is using sirma (kajal or kohl) in baby's eyes ok for his/her health? i have searched on internet bt cud not find any thing related . From which age we can use it? as our nanies and mothers are using from day 2 or 3 after birth.. what is the current resaearch if any?

my ayurvedic doctor told me that it gives cooling effect to eyes if you use ghee and pure cotton deepak to make it.
i am applying homemade kajal to my baby.

there are no proven benefits of putting kajal. moreover, in today's polluted world, we can doubt even the homemade kajal. so better avoid it.
