baking cake on tawa

hi... u can bake cake on tawa...put sand (mitti) on tawa place it evenly so that when u keep cake pan on it, it should' nt touch tawa & then cover it like a sealed covering(with its lid, or plate etc.)it might tk 45 -60 mins for cooking.u can check d cake is ready w/ same mthd like putting a knife/tooth pick and checking whether its done. i hope that might help u..it did for me..tc
