Due Date Club December 2005:For Raji, Shazia

Hi Raji,
I read your post about feeling body parts of the baby, so here I am writing about my \";weird\"; thing. It depends on your body type actually and the way u r carrying ur baby. In my case, even with the first one, I could not only feel, but even see the body part against my skin!!!! I could make out knees, feet and hands (fist, that is), not to mention the head and butt! Sometimes, I even had friends and relatives, people around me, say that they could see the baby's feet or something. This time round, it is not that bad but by now I can make out the fist. So just see when u r in a resting position but if u cannot, then don't sweat either. It's just dependent on your body type as I say. Hope this helps!
Luv, Siya

But I want to feel the baby parts, it sounds so exciting that everybody else is able to and Im not. My friend also can tell which part it was that moved and she can even see it just like you said. I really wish I could too. Is there a specific month from when you start experiencing it? I must watch out and see more carefully if I can see the body part. As such my tummy is hardly seen. Nobody even knows that Im pregnant and that too 7 months.

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
