Hi Girls, How is everyone doing? Very few updates/messages from all August mommies.
Wake up girls, let's share our views/feelings/thoughts/suggestions with each other and enjoy our pregnancy while it lasts....

Anyway, I had my Dr.visit today. So far my weight gain is 21 lbs and the doctor said it's good as I am in the correct range for my pregnancy period (I am in my 31 weeks now!)

As I was feeling very often the lower abdomen pain, I asked her about it and the answer I got was very assuring and I wanted to share that to you all, especially second time mommies like Rucha, Rashmi... Because this pain I mentioned I don't remember feeling it that much with my first baby. But with this one I feel almost all the time. The answer I got for this, When you are pregnant for the first time all your muscles are streching for the first time and so you feel/have more support. But the second time as those muscles were pulled once before, it gets expanded easily and thus you feel less support and thus the pain. She also included that the more babies you have the more discomforts you will feel, which is quite normal. SO, In case if any of you are wondering about this pain (lower abdomen and pelvic area) this is the answer. OK, Take care everyone and Good Luck to you all!! baby2Mommy replied. Hi there,
I don't have indigestion problem now. But I had it in my first trimster and like mentioned in one of the messages, I used to take tea made with lots of fresh ginger and the drink Ginger Ale. You can try that to see whether it helps you or not.
Good to know that you too have an older one with the same age of mine. My daughter too, so excited about her baby brother. These days she often kisses my tummy and say that's for the baby brother, which is sooo.... sweet. She even says that she is going to share her all the toys with this new baby and she is going to help me giving bath to the baby !! Hopefully she will be good big SIS!.
Yes, me too in the same boat of yours, Mumtobe. Two s enough. Me and my hubby decided that two is enough!! : )
BTW, what happened to your Sugar test results?, Let me know.

Good to see your postings in 2 messages. You are very welcome! Glad to know that you felt calming after reading it. Yes, I too felt the same way when I was told by the doctor this yesterday and that's why I thought of sharing it. As per the classes, nope I am not planning on taking any as it's my second time and I think I should be able to recollect what I learnt from the classes with my first child!, hopefully!

Well, I saw your posting on the other board too. Congratulations for carrying a BOY!. What do you have first? I mean do you have a Girl or a Boy as your first child? Let's hope for your sugar test to come negative!!

THough I feel tired and pressure at times in my lower part of the tummy, I am really enjoying this as it will be the only time you get to enjoy this (unless you plan to have one more!:-), Right?
Anyway, how old is your first child? Where are you living? (U.S or in India). I live in US and my first one (Girl) is 3 yrs+.
