hi all,

Is there anyone from winnipeg, canada?
I am in my 6th month of pregnancy and my husband has been transferred to canada..

i am really sceptical of whether i should join him there now or should i wait till i have delivered since i do not have any knowledge of the medication facilities there.

any suggestions??

Why don' t you join a due date club on babycenter.ca There is a greater possibilty of you finding someone from Winnipeg there than here and you can have all you doubts answered.

Hi

Even I am in Canada, though in Toronto. I moved here last year from the US so please ask any specific questions you may have.

The decision to move would be entirely yours and your husbands. However in my opinion I feel if you can stay on till you deliver the baby nothing like it. After all you would be comfortable with your doctor and moving in the middle of a pregnancy is a tough call.

You do not need to worry about the medical facilities. They are clearly as good as in the US. Since health care is a domain of the government, you shall have to pay nothing for the delivery. The catch could be that often there are wait periods before you become eligible for the health benefits and you may not have enough time for that if you are in your sixth month (Its usually 3 months) I suggest your husband have a talk with someone in his company and figure out the exact modualities before you plan a move.

Take care and all the best.

My son also had the same problem his legs used to shiver my doc said it is due to calcium defieciency b.coz I was calcium deficient. She gave him a tonic for 2 mnths it cured after that. The reason why ur baby' s leg is shivering may be this. Plz contact ur doc and take necessary steps as soon as possible.... - Sahila Gupta [View Message]
Help for your sis in NJ
Ravs, your ideas are out of date, since your sis is in NJ she should join a good prenatal class [Lamaze, Bradley etc] and get updated information, also her physician will guide her on diet and her self care please don' t give her advise based on the info in this mail of yours. Not to worry
If you want a normal delivery, ask your doc first to try vaginal delivery if not then go for forceps delivery where baby can taken out with the help of tongs...
