I have made bharwan bhaigan in the microwave. ii just slit brinjal into 4 slits put in the masalas (dry ground peanuts, corainder powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt). I just add little oil add hing, rai, jeera, garlic and then remove this and keep it. add little more oil and the brinjals stuffed with masalas. cook for 4 minutes and stir and then another 2 mins (mine is a < 700W m.wave) hence it takes this much time. else you can cook it for lesser time as well. to check if brinjal is done just press it with a knife or fork if its soft and goes all the way in its done. remove it garnish it with coriander and serve. making it in m/w reqires very little oil otherwise lots of oil is needed for this recipe. cheers
