Hi,
I have a 1 month old son. He seems to have lot of gas. He doesn't cry of pain, but he keeps trying to push it off frm down. He is having normal bowel moment. Another issue I'm having is he vomits a lot. After every feed he vomits little bit and sometimes more too. Doctor said he has gained weight fast, 1 kg in 14 days, this means he is having more milk thn he can digest and she gave me some drops for gas, but he still tries to push gas and makes lot of farting. Wht should I do for gas and vomiting?

i think you are relating to spitting up when you said vomiting.this has helped me to understand what my baby was having.

my baby was colicky so i don't know about gas. if your doctor has given you drops i think it should be safe. my baby was given colicaid by doctor and he was fine after 1 week. i think you should wait for some more time. mom replied. whats your diet? Are you drinking too much milk? Are you also having gas problem?
Check ur diet if u r eating something that is creating gas.

Are you burping the baby well? Some babies need more than one burp after a feed, else the gas caught inside becomes gas.

I can think of these 2 things right now, may be other moms can suggest u more.

I m assuming the medicine ur doc has suggested should also help. Gas probs are common in babies, dont worry.
