Name: kavitha kantheti Iam a working women.My baby is 3 months old and I have started with Nan1 but my baby is refusing to have the milk.

So what do i need to do to wean my baby from breastfeed .What solid foods i can start in her 4th month.Kindly advice.Urgent

hi kavitha,
being the mother of a 4-month old child kavitha, u have to wait for one more month to get ur child start up with any kind of semi-solid food. as per my experience and also suggestion from doctor, u can give ur child the single-toned milk (amul has the best taste...250ml+1 spoon sugar...NEVER EVER ADD WATER).After the completion of 4 month, doctor himself is going to suggest u for stage 1 cerelac. dont panic.. none of the babies in my knowledge have liked nan/ lactogen..NOT EVEN MINE ONE!! BELIEVE ME KAVITHA, i hav extended my maternity leave just for d sake of my sweet little baby and now when he has developed the taste of cerelac+various milk shakes i can easily rejoin my office. BUT BEFORE STARTING ANYTHING NEW FRIEND..DO CONSULT UR PEDIATRICIAN SINCE EVERY CHILD IS DIFFERENT. REMEMBER YOUR MILK IS THE BEST AND EVEN U CAN TRY-OUT WITH BREAST PUMP SINCE U CAN STORE BREAST MILK FOR FOUR DAYS AT CONSTANT TEMPERATURE .
