I am planning to buy a breast pump in hyderabad.
I explored the market and found only two brand are available in hyderabad
1) Mee Mee
2) Medela

Shopkeeper told me that mee mee is also good and costs around 2500 and medela is very costlier than Mee mee pump (aroud 10k for Swing model).
If anybody have used Mee Mee/Medela breast pump please provide me the feedback, this will help me in taking decision to buy the best and reasonale one.

I think is better to by this than going for MOthercare Brands like Medela..
They are very very costy ..25000-32000
The only reason for that cost is they are imported and Pound to Rs conversion.

I am a working mom with good milk supply. In fact got a breast abcess since I could not feed the baby since I am working. I plan to purchase a manual breast pump. Can you please tell me how much it takes to fill bottle using manual breast pump. (Planning to purchase Mandela or pigeon manual version costing 3200 and 1800 respectively). In fact in delhi there are two versions of mandela cheaper one costing Rs 1250. I have used local ones like chimera costing as low as 150 but milk throughput is less. Can anyone kindly tell me the throughput of manual pumps. Everywhere its mentioned that electrical pumps take half as long as manual pumps but no one tells how longs.
One more thing because of breast abcess will I be able to use breast pump on the affected breast. When it pumps is it painful? Though my affected breast has healed I dont want to take any chance. At the same time dont want the recurrence of mastitis due to non sucking of breast milk Abirami replied. Hi Prami,
I too am from Hyderabad and am looking out for an electric breast pump. Have u finalized/ bought one? If yes, it wud be great if u let me know about how useful it is, the price, place where it was bought etc. Thanks in advance for the help.
