I feel bad after reading all these posts on problems with the in-laws. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck with in-laws or parents (after marriage). Because of my parents argumentative nature, they have broken off with all their family members. Not even one wants to be near them. It really makes me sad that they can't be near anyone. They are losing out so much everyday without their kids and grandkids. I do have a good husband (now) and great kids, but wish there were more harmonious people in our lives. So ladies, at least be thankful that you have good parents! lll replied. How do you know your parents are losing out so much everyday ? My mil is living alone. She has cut off relationships with her own son, mother, siblings, inlaws. I can say almost everybody. Nobody wishes to speak with her, because she always argues, curses, gets hysterical and asks people to get out of the house. Its always my parents, her sisters, myself and my husband (her son) who worry and once in a while try to contact her. But dont tell me, that lady just spits venom. She just doesn't wanna make up her mind. She is god and everybody else wronged. I wonder if she et al in her life has felt sorry for what she is doing.
