Re:
if your child has recovered from eczema,,it would be inappropriate if he touches the infected feet.
if your child is having eczema which is quite common/regular basis for him,,his body wont be further infected with eczema.
if your child is having eczema because of family history of allergies, rashes, eczema,,thn its likely that irrespective of touching feet or not,,he is likely to have eczema with other allergens !
if the eczema category of your inlaws is just the same as your child,,and if it contagious, thn its likely to affect not only your child but you also !
if the eczema is non contagious,,it will not spread even when touched. but as a precaution,,washing hand with good soap is recmmnded after touchng infected person..if you are in India,,washing infected person clothes with dettol is good practice ! if not in india or ne other country,,wash infected person clothes with a santizng solution or soak it in hot water and thn wash ! a good mild detergent has to be used in washng,,avoid using fabric softners or strong detergents.
if the child is sufferng from eczema due to food allergies,,thn nebody else havng eczema inside the house will not affect his recovery. hwoever, it then further depnds on how contagious the infected person eczema is !!
make sure to wash his hands, give him regular bath before sleep,,keep the things sanitised,,,,if the situation arises where he has to touch thr feet or nething that comes in contact with thr infected body parts...to be on safer side !!!
hope this suffcs...
