Drug abuse is rampant across India. Look at any metro or small town, and you have huge sections of society who are trapped in this social disease. I know so many people who were bright, young individuals, only to be destroyed by this habit. I don' t think the police is doing enough. A lot of charas, marijuana, cocaine, is sold right under the cops' eyes. In some areas, the cops get a huge cut of the drugs sold. There are so many villages in India that completely hooked to smoking marijuana. But what does the Government do? Nothing. They make huge amounts of money.
