Hi

I am taking this HSG tube test this month.Is it so painful.How long does the pain exist.Anybody who knows Plz tell me as i am anxious to know.Thank you.

i just had this test done yeterday,
at first i was sooo scared, i went on my own usally i ahve to take someone with me but knowone was avialble to cum , but anyway i was very scred and nervouse, expeacilly having young asian male doctors,

but anyway they wer so good they talked to me throgh the whole procedure,so i was not concentreating on what was going dwon below, the whole thing took less then 10 mins its was a little painfull,but it was not so bad as i thought it was,its liking having a little period pain and like having a smesr test ,but its over now,

remember to take pain killers and a pad and am sure u will be fine(if i can di it anyone can, thats how soft i am )

Hi,

It' s ok to be alone. It' s just around 20 mins procedure. If they give u mild sedative u need to lie down for half an hour or so after the procedure. After that u will be perfectly fine.

I have taken this test and it' s bit painful but once u r through with this there won' t be any pain at all. Gud luck

Hi Chethana,

Thank You so much for ur response.The doctor said there shud be one attendant with me during the procedure.My hubby is going on an official trip.I don´ t have anybody here.Do you think it is necessary to have some one near you during the procedure or it´ s ok to be alone with the hospital staff.I am a confident person and can manage things.Just asking because you know better than me.Kindly give ur Opinion.Thank you.
