Hi all,

I m 22 weeks preg. My blood pressure is high it is 130/90. I am worried. My doc suggested me to minimize the salt intake. I m taking care of this but is this sufficient. As I am working I have to sit for long hours on a chair. My legs are getting swollen frequently. Kindly suggest me what to do.

Thanks
Shweta

The best would be drinking alot of water and Ofcourse less or no salt intake. The best excercise is to sleep on the floor and raise your legs up for 10 mins before going to bed. You can take the support of a wall or a bed. This helps to reduce pressure on the legs.

hi shweta,
High BP is a regular/commom issue.
Drink lots of water and fluids like coconut water, as much as possible. Keep your legs raised on a small stool or chair while at work.Take break from work every 20-30 mts and take a walk . By take care.

hi
My son also had the same problem his legs used to shiver my doc said it is due to calcium defieciency b.coz I was calcium deficient. She gave him a tonic for 2 mnths it cured after that. The reason why ur baby' s leg is shivering may be this. Plz contact ur doc and take necessary steps as soon as possible.... - Sahila Gupta [View Message]

Not to worry
If you want a normal delivery, ask your doc first to try vaginal delivery if not then go for forceps delivery where baby can taken out with the help of tongs...
