Name: Malini Hello... I' m 2 or 3 weeks pregnant (not sure which week as mine is irregular period, got to wait 2 more weeks for ultrasound to determine which week)

As for now I don' t have any morning sickness but having stomach pain (like period pain). I' m also getting very tired if I stand very long.

Hope to see many August mothers at this board in the nearest future....

HELLO.congratz and prayers to alll moms to be
I just dicoverd on xmas eve iam pregnant 5 weeks with our first child.man am i excited....
to begin with i wanna know if there is any plus sizepregnant women sine iam huge.Iam 23 ,weighs 94 kg and 160cms.no hpertension .i get pains or cramps lasting frm anything frm one min to few secs.dr has asked me to tak rest.no climbing stairs,no standing,
iam workin too.if there is any maam to be with same expereince pls rite here.i take folic acid (500mg) per day.

hi im also 5 weeks pregnant n taking folic acid (500 mg)once in day.i also have pain in stomach n back ache.rest all ok.this is my second baby n till now now no nausea as first time so happy.

I usually get my periods in 29 days but today is day 37 n I haven´ t got my periods.Pls tell me can I go ahead with the home pregnancy test?

Hi , M too excited... think its 5 weeks...chkd with my doc she says pain vl be there till 2-3mnths... n told to c gynac only after 2 mnths according to her theres no need now..
m takin folic acid..

Leme no any other dos n donts u are aware off.. Tis my 1st baby n m not to informative..

I got my HPT done... its positive... Have dne the blood test to cnfirm 100%.......So excited...
I too have stomach ache... keeps on painin all day...n no sleep also...
yet to contact d gynac. Keep in touch..

Hi,
First of all congratulations and welcome to the august board. You didn´ t mention how many weeks?

You better check with doctor if you have pain all day coz.... mine is off and on only. I have no prob while sleeping...except 3 days back I had pain around 4am in the morning....that´ s it.

Are you taking folic acid...??

hi malini

i am from the july 08 due date group.. i found out pretty much the same way as you did.. i had irreg periods so determining how long i had been pregnant was a bit tough.. my hcg levels were 371 the 1st time and then doubled to 1071 in 48 hrs.. then i went in for a scan where only the gestational sac was present.. so the ultrasound dr. said i was around 4wks 5days.. 2 weeks later i went for a scan again and i saw the baby´ s heartbeat and outline.. so i suppose u will have to follow the same routine as me to determine the age of the foetus...

I am on TTC since long & i was very hopeful for this month till yesturday. But Today i got my periods so will have to try again.

Hai..... Thanks, I did HPT and it was positive and on the same day itself when to see doctor and they took blood test. The HCG reading was 210 so it would fall into either 2nd or 3rd week........as for now I must wait to ultrasound in 2 weeks time to know for sure in which week I fall into.

horlicks with milk

i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother' s horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...
