I am travelling from US to Chennai with 4 yr son and 3 month girl. My son is using daily medication for asthma. Can anyone suggest a pediatrician in Chennai who is aware of the medicines in the US? I will be very thankful for suggestions. I will be located in the Abhiramapuram area.

Hi ,

Dr Benjamin has his own clinic called Shishu Clinic in CV Raman Road ( off CP Ramaswamy Road ) near the old Lifestyle store. He's also available in Malar Hospital in the morning and evenings.

I know he's familiar with US medicines because he did some vaccination adjustment for one of my coleagues who returned from the US. Also, his own grandchildren live in the US so I think he would be familiar at least on a personal level.

Another option is Dr J Prabhakar who also practices in Malar Hospital . But I don't have any personal experince with him . Have heard he's good too.
