I am 27 weeks pregnant and this is my first pregnancy.Yesterday I saw a programme on the National Geographic- THE STORY OF BIRTH, and though I am well aware of the delivery process but after seeing that programme I am feeling very scared.
Are you all also having the same feeling , fear of the unknown .

GOne thru one labor and can tell u that was not anything we bear compared to daily struggles..I would want the pain and go thru a normal delivery..baby will befine and here docs are great too..if in india, its very helpful to have parents..the difficult part is after delivery, to wake p nights and be awake :) but its all worth it..is all i can assure.The mor epositive u r about birth and labor, the easier it goes thru. those shows infact show how moms of all ages go thru it. Movies don' t trust..its all hype. Just jhave faith in urself and u can visulize it being easy on u and it does help during birth.ur lamaze classes will help u in this.

I feel the same just like you....sometimes a bit scared and sometimes i feel god will give me the strenght ....baby birth stories on discovery channel are sometimes encouraging but give a real taste of reality that is going to follow...

I intend to start some yoga and relaxation techniques...

sanaa Roops replied. i am in 27th week too and a first timer..infact i watched the videos of natural and C section birth on babycenter site..nothing to be scared about, its a very natural thing to go through..be strong and enjoy the experience...all the best..
