My 10 weeks old baby doesn' t sleep before 1 at night. Sometimes even later than that. I give her a massage before sleeping at around 10, but is not helping much.

hello nidhi,
if you are alone at home , arrange one made for your help but keep in mind that, she is definitely helpful and trustful for you, best of luck.

hello nidhi,
dont worry, is there no one with you at home to keep helping you in this phase? like your mother in law, or your mother so it will be helpful for you, so take help for your husband or keep one made for your help.

hello nidhi
dont worry you should try to understand your baby is just a 10 weeks, and slowly slowly the sleeping time of your baby will change, and baby sleep on time like you, so keep some patience and take care of baby.

hello nidhi
it is a very common problem of every mother every new born baby mother complaining about same things, so better you need to maintain some time for her to sleep then only it would be better.

hello nidhi,
your problem is problem of every new born baby mother, because baby sleep whole day, and at night they used to wake up, and that night time is mother sleeping time, there is so miscalculation of sleeping time of baby and mother.

hi nidhi,
this is not a big issue, small new born babies behave like that way only, so there is no need to worry, or you no need to gave massage to baby , baby will sleep at on time decided,

Hi Nidhi, this is not at all a problem, Kids do give a lot of trouble till they complete the are of two so you need to adjust and cooperate. There are a lot of babies who dont sleep over night

10 weeks is still very early, she' ll get there eventually.
Maybe keep lights low after a certain timeand talk quietly so she eventually gets the idea that here are certain times when everyone is quiet.
Good luck :)

yaah true we have to fix up their cycle of sleep by using techniques like this like switching off lights and talking silently or what the baby does before sleeping e.g drink milk then make him drink early so it gets the idea that its time to sleep.

Hi Nidhi,

The sleeping pattern of the babies change gradually, so do not worry. As she grows old she will get adjusted to normal sleep pattern. However, it is common to get up in middle of night for feeds. I have experienced this with my baby.

Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
