hi D,

to keep the chapattis refrigerated, you need not to cook them fully. Put the rolled chapatti on tava (hot plate) - turn it over once and when the chapatti is half done - take it off from tava. When all your chappattis are half cooked - wrap them in a *slightly* damp paper towel and then put in the ziplock.

When u want to eat the chapatti, take out as many as you need and warm them on the grill one by one - you will be surprised that these chappattis are soft, taste fresh and even blow up on the grill (or gas or tava) the way a fresh / unstored chapati does.

Best of luck..

S

S,

Your suggestion seems great! But one question..won't the chapatis collect fungus when you rap it in a wet paper towel and put it away in the fridge for a week???
