Drugs how bad is it

How serious is drug abuse amongst the middle class in India. Sure I' ve had friends who have experimented while away on college trips and all as a group thing. I think our teens face more of a problem with drinking and smoking.

Drugs are NOT cool

Drug abuse is rampant across India. Look at any metro or small town, and you have huge sections of society who are trapped in this social disease. I know so many people who were bright, young individuals, only to be destroyed by this habit. I don´ t think the police is doing enough. A lot of charas, marijuana, cocaine, is sold right under the cops´ eyes. In some areas, the cops get a huge cut of the drugs sold. There are so many villages in India that completely hooked to smoking marijuana. But what does the Government do? Nothing. They make huge amounts of money.

Dude! Drugs are a major problem. The middle class youth is starting to have too much money to spend and any productive way to vent their frustrations, so some blow their money or drugs to alleviate their depression.

Rampant in youngsters

Substance abuse is prevalent among the youth, specially among college-goers. It is especially rampant in hostels.

It is importasnt that parents remain vigilant, identify if their children are into this habit and take immediate steps to cure them.

Yes i got to know that my brother who is doing his BE is using drugs. I talked to him about this cooly and tell him the side effect of it. Now he claims to come out of it.I was/am really worried about him.
