My baby has been born prematurely by 17 days on 14july 2003.
Is it safe to assume that baby has colic if she cries even though not hungry and feels somewhat relieved if taken around the hose, as soon you try to put her down o bed she starts crying.
What can be done to avoid this colic?
Is it sage to give / try these things like application hing water on stomach; gripe water, or homeopathic medicine.

Any other remedy available.
Please help

Hi,

Hing water is good and gripe water is also good. I have 10 months old baby and i gave him gripe water (woodwords) right from the start. Infect because of that he hardly had any gas problems and sleeps well. let him burp after his feed well, for that keep him strait for few minutes (till he burp).keep him little warm. This might help.

Doctors suggest not to use gripe water and home remdies. One of the prescribed medicine is \";Colimex\"; drops. Check with your childcare specialist.

i had heard this anti colic bottles are reduce gas in stomach, and that is good for kid health, my friend found the coiic bottle on beebaby, that is easy to clean and i guess is definitely worth the price.... - ramesh [View Message]
