Hi My son is 21months now he is not ready to give up the breast feeding. He depends most of the time only on my feed and doesnt eat other food because of which he is too lean & too stuborn.Please advice me the ways to discontinue the breeast-feeding asap. artikini replied. I am a mother of two and I can sympathise with all of you. I fed my elder daughter till past 2 years and I was exhausted.This time it was getting too much and I have just stopped for my 20 month baby. I applied bandaid and told him I have got hurt. He cried for 2 days and kept checking for the next10 days if bandaid is in place. But now he is okay. Gets up in night still but takes water happily. For my elder kid I applied neem juice, it was so bitter she stopped too! Feel guilty sometimes , but doctors have assured me that main diet should be from solid foods and at this stage it is not important at all. MInd you I had no support both times who could take over the baby at night and comfort the baby. So dont wait for any help.We have to think of our health too.All the best. sarita replied. my dau is 15mts old and same prob with her also....she still depends on breast feeding and does not eat anything else properly...and nights dont ask every 1hr she wakes up for BF...i feel so much tired after a hectic day ...please suggest what we can do to stop bf....pleaaaase Joshna replied. My baby is 14 months old and i' m a working woman. She doesn' t stop breast feeding and when i stop giving her she cries so loudly that i have to feed her at any cost.Being a working woman i get tired at night and feeding her at that time for every one an dhalf hour is very painful job for me.
Please provide any suggestion.
