now my ultra modern MIL is going places and talking so much about me.All her friends call me up and say YOU MUST TAKE PROPER CARE OF HER.AFTER ALL SHE DOESNT HAVE A HUSBAND.IT IS YOUR DUTY TO TAKE UTMOST CARE OF HER etc.etc.when i had been doing things she treated me like shit, now when iam reserved with her she is spreading things about me.she also makes all false illnesses to the neighbours saying that she has discomfort in the chest or legs or abdomen. All the tests of her were perfectly normal.pl. suggest me to deal with this problem

ignore her, becoz she is a MIL. The DIL(IL) itself brings negative waves to MIL, we should also start avoiding, ignoring, and simply neglecting as she is MIL, just think she is somebody who is staying in ur house....as you these are the things every DIL faces in the beginning of the marriage when most of the house managemnt MIL in joint families like that of mine, but however when one day or other the house managemnt key comes to our hands we should show them tit for tat......JUST IGNORE HER, AVOID HER

hey dont give your Mil the pleasure that she cud ruin your peace of mind.dont bother about what she talks with everybody. in any case in laws will never tell good about dils so why bother to try to keep good relationship.its only u who will be working on the relationship.hey its not worth the pain as i have been there and done that. in the end i was physically exhausted and mentally drained. then i learned its not worth taking so much pain.
Dont worry too much .Enjoy your life.
