Hi to all moms whose children are late in speaking. Even if you think your son/daughter can hear get HEARING TEST done. My son I thought could hear but the test showed water in his middle ear and that he could not hear CLEARLY. .....we will get him operated soon . Wish us LUCK !!!!!!!

If the doctor has suggested drops only then it must not be something major. My son was operated as it affected his hearing and he had water in his middle ear.The hearing got normal after the operation and the tube inserted in ear would shed off on their own in 6-9 months time. He was operated when he was 32 months old.Yes, their is slow but some change in his speech after that. Feel free if u need any other info from me

Hi Sulata,
He really needed surgery because he had glue wax in his ears. It has been 3 weeks since he has been operated and I can see some positive changes. As he understands more he gets less frustrated now. The doctor who did surgery has asked me to wait for 3 months to see effects in his speech...so I am waiting.
Will keep u updated.

Speech/language delay - 2.3 yr old boy

Also, he doesn't understand slightly longer sentences, even when we speak slowly and enact it such as "we'll go out after we eat". Otherwise, he appears perfectly normal. Shoranur kerala samajam Ayurveda hospital review
Hi All,

My son is less than 4 and has been diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. He is non-verbal. We are taking him for OT and ABA/speech therapy.

Meanwhile, I read about an Ayurvedic hospital called Kerala Samajam hospital in Shoranur. Has anyone gone there for treatment? Any reviews?

Hints for Nursing
Babies eat and eat and eat. Although nature has done a pretty good job of providing you and your baby with the right equipment, in the beginning it's almost guaranteed to be harder than you expected. From sore nipples to tough latch-ons, nursing can seem overwhelming.
