Hello,

I am travelling to Chennai from Atlanta with my very active 15 mo. old son. Any ideas as to how I can manage with him on my lap during the flight. He does not like being held at one spot - he would rather run around. I am told that the airlines (Lufthansa) will not give a bassinet to an older baby like my son. So I am wondering how I would manage his meals or just a place to keep him.

Do you think it is worth buying an extra seat. But it is going to be very expensive.

I will appreciate any help.

hi there,
i just happened to read yr mail but i hope u hv not left still.
what u can do is carry a pram with u.they will give ua tag with it.so uc an put yr baby in that.when u r feeding.but its surprising that they r not rpoviding u with a bassinet as im travelling with my 14 month old son now by singapore airlines they r giving me a bassient but then too im carrying his pram with me.so that if hes not comfprtable in the bassient then he can sleep in the pram.
uc an maybe give him a water bottle to suck so that hes calm.
keep him busy with sum toys.
dont worry..the airhostess will help u in any case.
