Dear All,
This is my 26th week , and because of so much of gastric problem , I am not able to feel the kicks , I try to relate to them but am not too sure ( these small bumps occur in my lower abdomen , where the baby is supposed to rest with his /her head )
Can somebody pls tell me the feeling so that I can relate and enjoy this feeling , and also can my hubby hear or feel the kicks or is it too early for him to notice these kicks

Hi Natasha,

I am in my 25th week of pregnancy and my situation is also the same. My doc told me that the baby keeps on changing its position. So the burps that u r feeling can be actually the kicks of ur baby. Now the baby has started taking hicups too, so it can be that as well.
so no need to worry.
enjoy this feelimg also

hi natasha,
iam also in 26 th week, iam feeling my baby kicks almost daily.even i am able to observe my baby timetable for kicking,i surprised that how punctual he is... well i think he distinguishes the touch of mother hand.when i keep my hand on tummy he responds.
coming to ur point .. dont feel dippressed, just sleep calm on left side ,u can observe the movements of ur baby.once u r able to feel then it will be easy to recognise.
at the bigning it will be like some bubble is moving in side ur tummy.i think it starts in left side.
what is ur weight and weightgain .
iam 58 kg now , gain is 11 kg. my doc.. told me to reduce eating almonds and she told that i gained slightly more wt than normal.
this is my update.
take care and i wish u to enjoy the kicks very very ....soon.
bye

Hi Natasha,

I guess the feeling changes from person to person. But when your baby kicks, you will just know.
Try eating some sweets and resting for sometime. My baby kicks real hard, when I eat sweets. ( I am in my 28th week by the way).
Also, sometimes, I can actually see my tummy shaking from outside, when baby is at his most active stage.
As for my hubby, baby stops kicking as soon as he keeps his hands on my tummy. Even he feels bad because of this.

hey natasha..me too in the 26th week..somedays the baby is very active and kicks me all the time and somedays not much..its a very strange and unique feeling..initially it felt like flutters but now i can distinctly make out the baby moving...
the movements are very hard enough for others to feel from outside..maybe after a month or so it can be felt from outside..my hubby gets very disappointed sometimes when i tell him that its kicking but he cant feel a thing from outside..all the best..take care..
