Hi All

I have a 4 week old son. Last week i went to the doc for check up and she said baby hasnt increased in weight. She feels i might not have enough milk and so prescribed me some tablets and infant formula for the baby.

At first I was giving him formula [in a bottle] and breast milk alternatively. But then after 2 days, my son started refusing the breast and cries until he' s given the bottle.

I think he got used to the flow of the bottle as he doesnt need to put effort in sucking unlike he does in the breast. So now i express the milk
using a pump and feed him thru a bottle.

Did anyone face a similar problem?
Any solution to make him switch from bottle to breast slowly??

am very worried that I might end up expressing breastmilk all thru! :(

I have a 4mth old and I am still pumping the milk,but its not too late for you to put him on breast feeding.
pls try it!let him cry for a while but it helps you a long way...believe me.

My case was I had a C-Sectn and cudn' t lift baby,so it was already late for me....sometimes I feel I miss that pleasure.
