My two year son was very fair, when born. But after some time the complexion started changing. Now he is having a very dark skin colour. I was applying almond with milk on his skin when he was just a baby, which gave a very good effect on his face. But now whenever I try to do the same thing, he refuses. Please suggest.
I believe replied. How does it matter what the color of the skin is. As long as the child is safe with sun creams where necessary and is healthy and happy, you should not worry. It is what we are inside that matters isn't it. And the home is the best place to instill and nurture self confidence. Please do not make an issue of this non-issue, enjoy your child's specialness and be happy
shobah replied. Hi! I was just wondering, what is wrong with dark skin? the colour of a child's skin does not determine it's texture. The most important thing is that your child has healthy skin. Maybe you should try to change your shallow way of thinking!

Shobah nanny replied. do not worry over the change in skin. The child is exposed to sun and wind, so bound to get darker. just try massaging him with besan and milk during bath. anita replied. Hence I cant apply it. For Baby cream I tried that, too, but no result. Please suggest. anita replied. Well, if your child is allergic to these two things. Try some malai. I am sure malai is soft enough for the childs skin. Malai not only softens, but does the whitening too. Of course, you will have to use a good soap to rinse off the malai stickiness.
