Due Date Club November 2003:Hi all!!

Howz everybody... missed u all!!.. hey Avi I didn't even realise you were moving.. Its a real tough job in the normal cicumstances... Great going for you to do it at this time!!! Hope you can get all the rest you need. Are you still going to work?? Also, do put your feet up higher than your head when u sleep. I can really relate to those baby elephant feet. I have a permanent quilt at the foot of my bed for this.

Hey Simmi.. Hope your everything is fine with you. I read about the blood in the urine. I'm sure its something the doctors can handle.

I just realised that as we are getting closer and closer to D-day problems on their high.

I forgot to mention why I was away (again!!) for all these days. Well my parents had come down to visit us. We had a great time. Then now I have come back with them. So now I'm in Chandigarh. I made my visit to the Hospital where I plan to have my delivery. Got to see the doctor. He said the baby is in the breech position yet. Got me really worried for a few days. But talking to everyone and reading up on it I found that its not that much of an abnormal situation. But still in the back of my mind I have a slight concern which won't go away till the baby is here.

On the better side of things, I have begun shopping for the baby. Its such a lot of fun. I had no idea that we have such a lot of amazing things for the baby. Just the size of everything just melts my heart! Then I just pray for a second that everything goes alright.

WEll this is all from me for now... Love to you all.. Take good care of youselves..

Hi Deep,

I've read a lot about doctors using some technique to flip the baby. Has your doctor thought about that?

Good luck,
Vindhya

Hi Deep,

Before we realize you are back, you are gone again. Hope to see you more often.

I am sure your baby will turn to heads-down position by the 32nd week. If not, it's still not a big issue to worry about. Having a doctor hubby by your side, I am sure you have all the support you need.

Shopping is sure lot of fun. I bet in India it is even more fun, with mom around to help you. Lucky you.

Take care,
Vindhya

Hey Deep, glad to hear from you...and glad to hear that you are with your parents... the move was hectic and yeah, I've been taking it easy for the past two days...and also trying to keep my feet elevated whenever possible..and trying to cut down on salt too.. hope it helps..
I have one more week of work left and after that I am freeeeeeeee :)

YOu are right about the prego problems...I cant seem to get a good nights sleep anymore, and I seem to have no control of my body from my waist down..they do what they want to do.. :) and I feel and walk like a penguin.. :)

Anyways.. Like Nick says..dont worry about the breech position, I am sure the baby will turn soon. and yeah, breech babies can be delivered normally too... I watched a vaginal breech-baby-birth on TV..
I wont know what my baby's position for another few weeks..lets keep our fingers crossed..

YOu take care and keep in touch and keep us updated.. :)

Hi deep and Nikita
Don't worry about the baby's breech psoition.About 95% babies turn head down before delivery.Even my baby was breech and after 34 weeks the doctor saw that it had turned.
And even in case it doesn't happen by 34 weeks I have often heard that it might occur right before delivery.
So its pretty normal and many breeech babies can be delivered vaginally.
Hope this helps.

Hope u r enjoying ur mom's pampering and shopping for l'il one. I sure had lots of fun shopping under confusion.

Even my l'il one is still in breech position, but my doc says most of the babies turn around by 32nd week, so keeping my fingers crossed for next few days. Lets see what happens...

Hi Deep. Lovely to have you back. Well, it sure was quiet last few days with quite a few of u missing on the board! Thx for ur wishes. I am yet to find out about my test results, hopefully would get some positive news on Friday. Sure will be sharing the details with all of u.
HURRAY, so u r in Chandigarh, home town and shopping already too! Well done. I sure have lots to shop still but hoping to get my hospital bag ready first thing this weekend, wont' want to miss out on anything when I am there!!
About problems increasing nearer the D-day, I agree, I feel like a waddling duck and don't know if my groins and legs can take more weight on them!! Though not overweight, I feel big!
Hope for the best.
Take care and keep writing.
Simmi

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
