Celebrate India Summer Camp!



Ages 4 to 7

Time 10 am to 2 pm

Days - Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

Start date June 20 to Aug 19 ( no classes week of July 4 )

Cost - $75/week

Classes held at 4120 River Forth Dr, Fairfax, VA 22030. ( Next door to Fairfax's new Wegman's and close to Patel Brothers )

Class activities would include



Introduction to a few of the following Indian Art Form -
Rangoli, Faux Tangore, Mehendi, Pot Painting, Bangle Art, Banni Tribal Art, Warli Tribal Art
Children will work on independent and group projects
Fun Facts about India
A little bit of this, a little bit of that and a whole lot of things that will make them feel proud of their heritage
Indian Folk lore Tenali, Birbal, Panchatantra stories
Stories that grandma told me
Choral Poetry Recital / Drama / Story narration
Activities will include enacting stories, retelling stories and poetry recital
Show and tell
Show and Tell is a great tool to spark imagination, boost confidence and make children feel oh so good!
Outdoor games and summer fun
Everything from playing hopscotch to eating kulfi


This is organized by a mom of a 4 yr old girl who serves as her inspiration to be an educator for kids. Her previous work includes direction and production of Smart Cookie! - Educational Videos for Toddlers and Preschoolers . Please visit www'dot'smart-cookie'dot'com for details.
