hey guys I am 10 weeks pregnanat and yesterday i did fruit facial and today one of my friend said that facial is really bad for the baby...can anybody tell me whether facial bleech , waxing, pedicure is bad during pregnancy , will this by any chance harm my baby.I am from mumbai...

hello sushma..
i too dont think waxing n pedicure can harm the baby..its safe. Just make sure the parlour you go to is hygienic n they use clean towels.
as far as bleeching, i think its best avoided at this stage.

Hi Sushma,

as far as waxing and pedicure is concerned, it is completely external to the skin. It would be ridiculous to think it' ll affect the baby in any way. As for the bleach, I m not aware of any risk factors.

C' mmon, manicure, pedicure, waxing are luxuries you should pamper yourself especially in times like this. Doesn' t it make you feel wonderful? I wish i was in india.

horlicks with milk
i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother' s horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...
