Hi friends,
I think u all know about hurricane Katrina now another hurricane Rita is hitting again.
U know iam in Texas Houston and galveston is very close to houston there is an chance of hurricane hitting galveston ,
so we have been told to evacuate from houston for good.
dont know what to do iam worried about my house,as they have not given alert signal to our county but still there will be some or the other things going to happen.
By knowing todays weather report we will leave to Dallas for 3 to 4 days and will be back when everything will cool down.
Dallas is 5 hrs from Houston i dont know how i will manage to stay that long in the car as iam in 7th month.
anyway i hope eveything will be fine and safe.

5hr drive is atleast better than suffering. so u stop worrying and pray. everything is gonna be ok.

You probably will dislike what I am going to say.
The hurricane Rita will head in the direction it is supposed to, our prayers have certainly no impact on changing it's direction.
Like last time with Katarina, lets hope the eye of Rita follows little wrong direction and enters in to Gulf of Mexico, this is only little inaccuracy of estimates and not a result of prayers.
Besides this is an opportunity to thank God to let you and everybody in the area to know what's on the way. Remember Tsunami that came with no warning and thousands of life and full devastation of places took place.

You have opportunity to move far from it's way and you should seize that. I understand your concern on your home, I would feel the same, but there is nothing you could do besides hoping that it won't hit that bad and all will be fine when you return.

A 5 hours car drive is not really that bad option around 30 weeks gestation. It's not the best thing to do but this is in the best interest of your life, baby and for each one's good. Try to see if you could get breaks on gas station in between and stretch your legs and walk for 15-20 minutes on each break. Drink lot of water. Expect some fluid retention after this trip but all should be fine with you and baby. That's what I can offer you on medical and moral front.
