Nikita, I can imagine how hard it must have been for u to go through the moving process... I was literally in tears when I looked at how much we had left to do... I am glad we are done and yeah, unpacking can be done at its own pace...
Good to know that your hubby is doing all the carrying ... :) that is sweet..make sure you dont dont overexert yourself during the move to India.. I am excited for you though, you will get to be with your family and friends and have lots of fun... :)
Simmi, you are right... I have a strange feeling that the baby might choose rush hour traffic.. I hope not..Lets keep our fingers crossed.. :)
I keep freaking out about my weight gain too but then I think of how many weeks there are left and feel better...
Unlike you, I feel like a Penguin when I look at my structure and my walk :), a duck is cuter I think....
I did read about the extra calorie intake too and I've been trying my best to do so.. hope you are too..
Thanks again you guys....TAke care.. :)
Simmi replied. Hey Avi. Thrilled to have u back....missed our chat! Glad to hear the move went well, but do take it easy now. Unpacking can happen at its own pace! Let ur hubby dear rest too, u both will need the energy in less than two mths...can u imagine.....time is just flying!!
I feel huge though, am dreading gaining more weight though it is inevitable! Doc dont' weigh us here so no diagnosis on that front from them.
Anyways, wanted to share a thought about my hospital...it is not too far but is near a football (soccer) stadium and match r usually on wednesday evenings and saturday afternoons! So hoping I don't go in to labour on a match day or I sure will get stuck in traffic! But knowing babes, what I am dreading might come true. Fingers crossed!!
Have been reading that we ought to eat at least 300 calories more in the next 7 weeks as baby needs more fat to grow from 4 pounds to 7-8 pounds....so trying to get healthy recipes ready!!
Take care of ur baby elephant feet...I feel like a waddling duck when I walk!!
Nikita replied. Hi Avi,
Glad to have u back in action.
It must have been really tiring for u and ur hubby to move in such heat. Don't worry about settling down and do it slowly. Believe me it never gets over. We moved almost 3 weeks back and i'm still settling down. So don't rush.
Sorry to hear about, swelling and backache. Try to increase ur fluid intake, it really helps. And take lots of rest.
Do keep us updated on ur appointment and hospital visit.
Take care.
Nikita.
Vindhya replied. Hi Avi,
I am so happy to see your message. I've been smiling ever since I saw your messages. I missed your little bean's update.
Hey, how was the move? Your hubby must be tired too. Unpack at your own pace, I am sure you will settle down soon.
How is your new place? Is it near your hospital?
I was looking for an iron board, I am glad I found it. Just kidding... Regarding your back and knee, just take lots of rest. I am sure they'll start listening to you soon. My feet are swollen too, I used to be worried when they were normal.
Did you have your weekly appointment? Mine is on Oct 3rd.
Isn't it great to see lot of new members?

MIne is not until this Saturday, so do let us know how it went after you are done with yours...
I heard that the fun part is the tour of the nursery and looking at all the babies in it...
glad that the stomach ache hasn't been bothering you for a few days now.....just dont think about it and hopefully it will stay that way...(I just touched wood for you)..
Hopefully the bean will not choose Rush hour traffic to be the time of arrival and like you said, we'll have lots of time to get the hospital when the day does arrive... :)

Avi,
I can't imagine how you both managed in that heat. Aren't you glad that the moving is over.
I haven't had stomach ache from past several days, I hope it doesn't come back. Thanks for asking.
Forgot to ask you, how was your hospital tour? I am planning to take mine this Thursday. My hospital is about 6 miles away. I guess, we'll have ample time to travel before going into labor.

Hey there Mrs. V....thanks for the warm welcome :).. I always told you -you are the sweetest young lady ever- :)
you can surely borrow my back anytime you find yourself in need of ironing your clothes...
and although a little swelling does ease our minds from our mommy-worries, trust me you dont want to have these baby elephant's feet...especially when all you have left to wear are capris and so you cant do anything to save people from the running away with fear of being crushed by them.. :)
Our new place is cool.. more rooms, so its always nice..but it is not too close to the hospital - about 10 miles which isn't too bad either...
Our move was crazy though - picture this- an almost eight month pregnant woman and ONE man trying to move out of an apartment full of stuff in 100 degree temperature.. - a very funny pic indeed..
Lesson learnt: HIRE MOVERS.. :)
Anyways, I have a doc's appointment next Monday and hopefully there will be no surprises about any more tests this time...
I remember Oct 4th too, and am excited for you..... :)
and yeah, the more the merrier....I love the fact that there are more of us now.. :)
How is your tummy ache??????? hope you are feeling much better...

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.
