hi,i've a kid whos 3yrs old 'ving bad food allergy and very bad eczema from baby onwards. v r at US.my kids past ped diagnoised by doing blood work reult was too worst when my kid was 8 months old. but ped asked me give all foods so i gave my kid.once i gave food my kid started getting rashes and scratching but ped told all things'll be cured once my kid crosses 3yrs old. but asked me to continue.till my kid was 15 months i gave all foods no improvement always getting rashes,scratching,eczema . then i changed other ped ,that ped asked me to stop all food till my kid crosses 5 yrs old. only my kid is at formula milk,hypoallergenic milk powder. my friend's child also 'ving food allergy but she took treatment at india. there ped asked her to give all foods even getting rashes or vomitting after few days that body accepts that food initially problem ,otherwise immune system wont accept any food once kid grown big.she started giving food for her kid ,initially 'ving problem for 1 week for food that she tries ,then after 1 week her kid started doing very good with that food that she tried before. now i'm too much confused which is correct trying food or stopping food for my kid ? if any parents knows pls clear my doubt. i dont know which ped is correct for my kid. thanx. in most cases,,kids are expected to recover from food allergies,,for the others,,the probablty is less..
however,it depends on the severity of allergies and the test results that show that body is allergic to certain proteins or lactose or intolerance to certain nutrnts in the food...if so, there are less psbilities that your child will be able to eat those foods in later stage, unless otherwise, his body becomes mature enough to digest these,,with the help of proper medication and dosages,,and the cases are individual..

most asian babies,esp indian, are not expected to have life long allergies, unless otherwise its an exceptional case where allergy and asthma is the major prob prevlng in family history..it also depnds on who is the carrier of this issue...a child is more likely to have allergies,,when the paternal side has allergy issues,,,as a part of family history,,compared to maternal side...

however, it is unexplained as to what genes get prominent or get supressed when the genes of parents come togetherr,,,so,,crux of this whole thing,,
avoid foods that cause allergies,,try to prevent ne condition that might trigger the allergy attack,,for which consumption might not have happnds but the triggering element was difff,,esp when it comes to cold,cough,,skin rashes,,and such,,,check my post to beena to avoid everything you can to avoid ne such triggersss ...
and yees,,get your baby checked by allergy dr at ne good allergy and asthma centr and these days,,as far as food allergies are concerned,some nutrionist do a wonderful job,,so get your baby one..or ask your baby dr about it..
