surbhi replied. For 2-4 people: take 5 bunches of palak, clean it and wash it thoroughly. then add palak in pressure along with the salt and channe ki dal ( thodi si). put some water. give 2 whistles in pressure cooker.
in a pan, put 2 -3 garlic( finely chopped) ginger, onion ( all these to be finely chopped) and fry it till it turns light brown, then add tomatoes again chopped.
On the other hand take out the palak from the pressure cooker and grind it in a mixer, leave water behind in cooker only( just 2 times, otherwise it will be watery). add that palak into that pan.
after little heating it u can add malai 2 table spoons and small pieces of paneer.
Pls try if it works.
Best of luck
sumi replied. hi subha
i have a recipe for palak soup, wash palak and boil it with little water in it, then grind it in grinder. Now in a thick pan add some butter and thinly sliced onions, saute until the onions become transparent, don' t overfry, then add palak in it, fry for sometime, and then add milk, about a cup. Let it boil for 2-3 min. add salt and pepper according to taste. you can also add green chillies in palak when you grind it. serve it hot. i hope you will like it.
for one bundle of palak add approx one cup of milk.
i will give you palak paneer recipe latter.
