Sleeping:Very tired ....pls help

My baby is 9 1/2 months old . She is on breast milk and semi solids. She has the habit of getting up 4-5 times in the night either for milk or when she changes her position from one side to the other. Due to her disturbing my sleep , I have a bad headache next day and feel tired and dull the whole day.

Please give me tips so that my baby has a sound sleep and does not get up either for milk oo otherwise.

I shall be really thankful to all.

where does ur baby sleep? with you? i mean co sleeping or in her own place? i think 9 and 1/2 baby doesn' t need 3-4 feeding in night..if she is sleeping 10 to 11 hrs in night she will need only 1 feeding. some babies do sleep 7-8 hrs without feeding. some tips from my experience.
BM before bed. burp her before putting her down. at this age she may not burp but at least keep her on your shoulder for 5-7 minutes. make sure she doesn' t sleep while BF or burping. if she is sleepy try to talk with her slowly. don' t excite her but atleast keep her out of deep sleep till you put her down.
pat her slowly after putting down. Don' t pick eventhough she cries..keep something with her which is her favourite thing like blanket or small soft toy which she can hold.mid night whenever she wakes up don' t offer her breast every time if its more than 4 hrs (5 hrs prefered) of last feeding then only feed...else try to pat her. follow same style every time. this will convey her message to sleep.
one more thing always make her to sleep at same place for day nap where she is going to sleep in night. babies do corelate things. this may take another 3-5 days but mostly u will get result. we have to teach them how to sleep and go back to sleep

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
