Name: worried Hi everybody,
I found out my blood group is A-ve n my hubbies O+ve.My BP n healthwise all is fine.
My doc said as my blood grp is A -ve...i need to take sugar shot at 7th month.
As anybody with this blood group or have any idea of risks undergone n remedy for it.

Hi,
My blood group is B -ve and my husbands blood group is B +ve.Getting Shots is no big deal.This shots just prevents your blood from producing anti bodies against Rh factor in case your baby's Blood group is Rh +ve.

I saw your reply on the site and my case is also same as urs....

I am 18 weeks pregnant and have B-ve blood grp and my hubby has B +ve.

I discussed all this with my doc before conceiving but she said this is nothing to worry and she did ICT test as soon as i got it positive. Test was negative and she said everything is fine now.

But i m still worried and scared of all this :(

Could you please help me by providing some more details, what exactly u mean by getting shots....and when to get that i.e which month I have to talk to doctor regarding this.

how r u doing n when r u due?.
So that v can exchange views.
I'm in 30th week n had the Rhogam shot last week n underwent 3 hr GTT test n waiting for results.
Do u think -ve of blood grp is cause for "gestational diabetis".....

Hey Kavita,

I'd say you get the ultrasound done so you will be able to see what is going on. Vaginal ultrasound is a good idea too.
