hi friends
My problems that ki whenever i try to speak ..my mouth is full of salaiva ..and this makes communictaion a bit difficult and each time i have to swallow it.
is there anyhting i can do to avoid this problem .
LA replied. Um I think there is a medical term for such things where u produce an excess of saliva. Some ppl produce less than normal.

Minali, it does not matter at all from where you belong to, what really matters is how confident you are in your language. Hindi is your mother tough. English is another language. If you can express your views in Hindi you can do so even in English too. Go for classes, read newspapers English magazines. Do not hesitate . you are never late to learn something new.

delil replied. I think you need confidence more than communication classes. Go for those personality classes and confidence arousing classes. You are suffering from low esteem and extreme shyness.
Once you gain your confidence, you can avail of books based on linguistic capabilities and communication boosting. Try talking more in front of people, try going up on the stages. Once you gain confidence, you will communicate like a professional.
One tip: if you need to improve on your english accent or grammar or plain eununciation, keep watching english sitcomes on popular cable channels, in a few months you will speak like a pro. Before you speak to any person, take in five long deep breaths. Imagine the other person whom you are talking to is liking you. The person whom you are going to speak is just another human like you. So just start talking and enjoy. Everybody makes mistakes. for_minali replied. When do you get the saliva more, is it when you are more tensed or always. Dont worry so much. Be relaxed and talk. Talk slowly and dont worry about the saliva. Mostly when you are tired or talk for a long time, saliva does come out.
