Hi...
I have a 4 month daughter. i am trying to give her a bottle from last one month and she is totally refusing it. I tried everything..Different nipples, BM in bottle, different formula, father tried to give the bottle whild I am not around. Now, I am really worried. How can I give her a milk or formula when I am thinking to stop breastfeeding at 5 month. Can babies at this age get used to with glass feeding? Please please let me know...

i breastfed my daughter til she was 10 months old belive me its not easy but never gve up i had the same problem my daughter did not drink any other milk, then i fully stopped gvng her breastmilk she cried in night i told my husband to baby sit her so every time she would get up for breastmilk he would gve her bottle tis vent on for a week then she knew it tat she had to drink only other milk.
so after a struggle of a week she started to drink other milk .until and unless u stop brast feeding fully she vil not drink any ohter milk coz as long as the taste of ure braest milk is there in her tongue she vil not drink any other milk ,dont gve up try try try

i am totally agree with ardhana.what is the need of bottle when god has given u most hygeinic food .if it is 5 th month then there is no need to start bottle.if it is possible u can continue bf till one year.otherwise u can start semi solid food made of milk.i never feel the need of bottle when my baby was very small.and the result was realy good in terms of my and her health.

Hi,
Why hook ur child to a habbit u eventually change? Now at 5 months we ask how 2 start bottle feed n at 12 mths how 2 wean them off·So, dont start.I made the same mistake n now trying 2 wean off.
If u can, BF for another month n then try glass.else u can spoon feed with diya shaped deep spoon(paladai), BELIEVE me, it will seem mppossible at first, but eventually she will learn. And at 6 mths stat glass.

try to give her bottle when she is sleeping (DREAM FEED) as slowly slowy she will get use to of it, start with 1oz just by chance if she refuse then wasteage will be minimum n if she was exclusively BF then its going to take time for her to adjust to bottles. FM will be best as they have added vita + minerals and she is too young for glass yet.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
