Hi Meghana
I was just reading the list of questions you'd prepared for your parents' visa interview and it is pretty thorough... great job :)
My mom has her interview soon and I had a couple of questions for you myself -

- If they ask her whether I am pregnant, should she say yes or no ?
I have heard conflicting opinions regarding this and wanted to know your thoughts.

- If they ask her, why do you want travel at this particular time only , what should she say ?

- & finally, what should be her reply to why she wants a 6 month visa ?

It would be great if you could help me out here. Thanks a ton.
ss

Hi ss,
we had told parents to tell that no I am not pregnant & they would be coming only for tourism & visit us.
2nd question
-We would like to experience fall colours, snow, spring and celebrate New Years & Christmas in US.We do not get to experience these seasons in India where we live. Plus this is holiday season so son-in-law will have lots of holidays & we can visit different places

3rd questions
-We would like to see the fall colours, snow & the spring seasons in US which we cannot experience in India.Plus we would like to visit florida , new york & many other places which we will be visiting on weekends when our son-in-law has leave. So we have lots to do & it will take time. But a shorter visa would also be acceptable if you feel that is appropriate.

THese were the answeres we had prepared for.
Best of luck

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
