hi

my son is 2 yrs old now. he wakes in the middle of the night frequently screaming and kicking in the air. i am not sure if its stomach aches or nightmares or anything else that is troubling him. i have to soothe him in my lap for over 1-2 hrs then he goes to sleep again, but he is still distrubed and doesnt have sound sleep.

can you pl. suggest what i can do to help him sleep well and not have wakeful nights? can i give him some household medicines?

PL. HELP

Hi
My 16 month old son behaves exactly the same way in night.I too pick him up or sometimes carry him for 1-2 hrs before he goes back to sleep again.Feeding him sometimes help but not always.Low and soothing music played whole night also works sometimes. No colic medicine has worked effectively for me.
Did he sleep when he was young?

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
