Name: Foram A Desai yeah even a kid of 3 has ego, and when he/she fails in doing a task ,they know that they have made a mistake. If we start lectureing them or scolding them, instead of they realising the mistake.

Our lectures sulk the kids, doing them no good and they feel insulted. We need to treat them like grownups and talk to them maturely.

Todays kids are very smart and they too want to be talked nicely, without their ego getting hurted.
