Even though all of us want our kids to eat healthy, nutritious food we should refrain from forcing it on them for lunch in school. What is important then is the child eating his/her lunch. Well, am sure u wud have tried, but these are a few things that my son loves,
1. Alu/paneer/palak parathas with ketchup or cheese
2. tomato/ peas / palak / mixed-veg pulao. with sliced carrots or boiled corn/ boiled peanuts / boiled chana
3. Pooris. can add palak to it.
4. All time fav' s - pasta treat with lots of veggies.
5. Sandwiches - whatever fillings u can think of with burger mayo, cheese, lettuce.
6. dosas/idlis - these too can be stuffed with whatever veggies u can think of.
Always have an option. If he/she does not eat one thing can atleast fill him up with the other, less likely to reject.
Hope this helps! Cheers!
