Due Date Club December 2005:About tail bone pain...

Hi All,
I just read Raji's post about tail bone pain. I have it too, in both my pregnancies. It is called \";Sciatic Nerve Pain\";. The sciatic nerve runs from the hip to the foot, it can hurt terribly bcoz of the weight the baby puts on this nerve. Solution is not to sit for long periods of time. If u must sit, try getting up every 15-20 mins and walking around a little bit. In my 1st pregnancy I had really bad sciatic pains as I was on bedrest most of the time. This time it is not that bad. It usually goes away after pregnancy unless u don't lose weight. Ok, hope this helps.. bye!
Luv, Siya

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
